James Harden Gave Lil Baby a $150K Watch

Welcome to Watches of the Week, where we’ll track the rarest, wildest, and most covetable watches spotted on celebrities.

For some people, a single watch simply won’t do. Folks like Marlon Brando, Diego Maradona, and Fidel Castro wore two to keep an eye on multiple time zones at once. Princess Diana wore her own watch plus Prince Charles’s during his polo matches to bring him good luck. Drake did it in his video for “The Motto,” presumably for the sheer flex of it all. Tom Ford’s young son is also apparently a fan of what’s been called “double-wristing,” “two-timing,” the “two-wrist tango,” and “going Schwarzkopf,” after U.S. Army General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, who kept a timepiece tuned to Saudi Arabian time and the other to Eastern Standard during the Gulf War.

Good for those folks, but after this week we’ll have to come up with a

Best Winter Colognes: The Best Fragrances For Winter Are a Hit of Woody, Spicy Warmth

The best winter colognes are worth giving a shot, because what soothes the senses in June is far different from what calms you in December.

Spring and summer scents are more fresh, floral, and fruity. As the weather drops, you’re gonna wanna swap in some wood and spice and shit like that. These cold-weather fragrances will warm you up—not literally but in a placebo kind of way. Same with anyone you might encounter. Look for ingredients like cedar, vetiver, amber, cinnamon, incense, and leather.

The Winter Winner Is…

This is my signature scent. I wear it all fall and winter. And let me tell you: I’ve never worn something that has gotten so many compliments—no sunglasses, no sneakers, no full-body rubber suit. People actually turn

Kid Cudi’s New Adidas Sneaker Feels Like a Throwback From the Future

When Adidas and Kid Cudi dropped the first sneaker of their official partnership last month, it was a bit of a head-scratcher (in a good way). Rather than create a new silhouette or apply Cudi’s eye for the zany to a classic Three Stripes sneaker, they reached into the brand’s archives to reissue an old-school basketball sneaker made famous by Grant Hill and slacker movie icons Bill & Ted. A welcome surprise? Absolutely. Still, it was a strange start to a partnership as high-profile as this. Adidas collaborators tend to start their partnerships off with a bang, often reimagining classic silhouettes like the Samba, or swinging for the fences with new, inventive silhouettes. Didn’t a fashion trail-blazer like Cudi deserve something a little more…Cudi?

As it turns out, the Artillery Hi was something of a soft launch, with Cudi’s newly revealed mainstage adidas debut actually drawing direct influence from

Get Ready for the NBA Coach Style Revolution

The line out of the Brooklyn Nets’ training camp making news today is Kevin Durant’s dismissal of James Harden: “I don’t think about James Harden at all. He’s not on our team.” While Durant was providing column fodder, new head coach Steve Nash choosing sides in a war that’s been brewing since the bubble kicked off in Orlando this summer. The declaration of battle? Nash said he plans on wearing polos this upcoming season. “The league is going casual, and [I] expect to go with the flow,” he said, according to reporter Alex Schiffer. Nash is representative of a swelling trend among NBA coaches—culminating in a vote Tuesday to change the guidelines so coaches would be free to shed the suit for the upcoming season.

The vote to relax wardrobe guidelines flies in the face of a contingent of NBA coaches who argue in favor of preserving the
