The New Lingerie Trend Everyone’s Wearing on Instagram

Granny panties” are really just a funny term that refers to briefs or high-rise underwear. The stereotype that your grandmother only wears a certain style of underwear has officially been squashed but due to the booming acceptance of fashion having no age limit, women of all ages have been rocking the “granny panty” for years now, and to be honest, I personally find them very sexy.

Since everyone has been spending much more time indoors these days, the sartorial Instagram content flooding our feeds has drastically changed. What was once a sea of fashion girls posting the latest trends and innovative outfits have now transformed into an oasis for loungewear styling tips. One of the at-home outfits I have taken a particular interest in is a simple one, requiring only two items: a tank top and granny panties.

While sweatpants and leggings are certainly dominating the WFH

J.Lo and Bella Hadid Wore the Same White Bikini

When two A-list celebrities own the same thing, you can bet that a legion of fans will soon follow suit. In the case of Jennifer Lopez and Bella Hadid, it’s a white bikini that’s already getting people talking on social media. Both celebs Instagrammed selfies of themselves in Frankies Bikinis Firefly Top ($56) and Firefly Bottoms ($48), and their posts garnered over nine million likes between them (eight million for Lopez and one million for Hadid). Not too shabby.

The swimsuit in question is one of the most classic styles out there: a white triangle bikini. I can’t wait to try the trend when things return to normal later this year. Who wants to join? The bikini is currently on sale, so it might not be around forever. Scroll down to see how Jennifer Lopez and Bella Hadid wore the same white swimsuit by Frankies Bikinis, and shop it

7 Colors That Go With Brown

Sure, we all love black—it’s the easiest shade on the color wheel to wear, right? As it turns out, brown is just as versatile, plus it’s a lot less predictable. And it’s both a classic color and has been a trend for the past several seasons, meaning that brown is, in fact, the new black (sorry, had to).

When paired with a variety of other hues, brown looks surprisingly sophisticated, making it a great replacement for your standard-issue black. It feels rich and luxurious with these complementary colors, and what more could you ask for in a fall wardrobe color palette? That said, brown is notoriously polarizing. Many consider it to be an “ugly” color. But hear us out and give it a chance. It feels surprisingly fresh this season in particular, and it’s an unexpected departure from other more beloved neutrals.

Reviewed: Why Fashion Girls Love the Boutique LCD

What inspired you to start your business?

After the last recession, I was living in New York, helping run the digital media team at Atlantic Records, and feeling very overworked and under-inspired. What did inspire me was A) the thriving contemporary-art scene and B) the indie (what we used to call “hipster”) scene in Brooklyn, where it seemed like everyone I knew was starting their own small business: pickling eggplants, screenprinting, making artisanal whiskey.

I knew I was ready to leave the corporate world and start my own business, and with my background in web development, digital marketing, and e-commerce, a website seemed like the ideal platform. I was so moved and excited by the new creative work I was seeing from artists like Dash Snow, José Parlá, Chris Johanson, but the art world seemed so rarefied and unapproachable, I had no idea how to enter it. But fashion. Fashion

Who What Wear Spotlight: How We’re Helping Small Businesses

Who What Wear Spotlight was born when our co-founder Katherine Power had the idea to use some of our ad inventory to support small fashion and beauty businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19. Starting tomorrow, each week we will turn the spotlight on a company that will receive a complimentary weeklong media package featuring the company, including a suite of custom ads to run on Who What Wear, social promotion, and an editorial story on WhoWhatWear.com.

With these efforts, we are extending a hand to the fashion-and-beauty community, using our ad inventory for good, and directing our global audience of 16+ million monthly avid shoppers to the brands that need their support the most. Our audience still wants to shop and see the best new brands and cares more than ever about who they are choosing to support with their dollar, so this is a win-win for both the
